Fort Collins Symphony Orchestra
The foundation has supported the activities of the Fort Collins Symphony Orchestra since 1993 in the aggregate amount of $281,000. The 2014 contribution was $12,000. In addition, the foundation contributed $10,000 to an endowment to honor Pat and Edna Griffin.
The Lincoln Center
In 2010, the Lincoln Center closed its doors for a massive renovation and expansion. In support of the Center's efforts, The Griffin Foundation granted the sum of $50,000 to help ensure their future as the hub of arts and culture in the region, and to continue a 32 year history of providing high quality performing and visual arts opportunities for the community. In 2011, The Griffin Foundation contributed an additional $50,000 to facilitate the renovation and expansion which began in 2010.
The Art Gallery at University Center for the Arts
Colorado State University has been selected to receive the extraordinary art collection know as "The Hartford-Tandstad Collection" consisting of several hundred paintings and works of sculpture, some that are several hundred years old. In return, CSU has agreed to add a wing to the University Center for the Arts to display the collection. The Griffin Foundation has pledged $300,000 toward the construction costs and equipment for this Gallery.
